Aluminium
Aluminium sheet is the most widely used form of aluminium, it is used
for light fabrications, truck and trailer repairs, car body panels,
enclosures, machine building and extensively in construction, aerospace
and defence. It is light weight and has a good strength to weight ratio.
Aluminium sheet can be cut with a guillotine or a jig saw with the
correct blade, very thin sheets can be cut with tin snips. It is easy to
fold and form aluminium sheet, and fabrication is easy as it can be
welded with correct training and equipment and can also be joined with
rivets and other traditional fasteners.
Sizes
We will produce your order to your required dimensions. We have set this from 50mm x 50mm through to 2500mm x 1250mm.
It is possible to supply smaller or larger pieces, please get in touch if your requirements fall outside these dimensions.
General
(*) Larger pieces of steel may not have the edges linished, but will be de-drossed and deburred. Typically over 600mm x 600mm.
Typical tolerances for cuts are +/- 0.5mm, if you need better please get in touch for a quote.
