Edges are always fully dross and burr free, squareness is assured both on the top side of parts and ISO 2 to 3 quality on edge bevel. 316 Stainless 2B specification
316 Grade stainless is the most widely used marine grade stainless steel with great resistance to oxidation, corrosion, and with a great durability. It is easy to fabricate and clean. 2B finish is a cold rolled "dull polish" appearance surface finish.
Density of this 5mm thickness material is 8.03 g/cm3, or 40.15 kg per square meter of material.
We cut our steel on a state of the art industrial plasma CNC machine. It is the highest accuracy model produced by Esprit Automation Ltd the "Lightning HD" and coupled to this machine is Hypertherms latest XPR 300 plasma. This offers us the best possible edge quality, cut and bevel in the 2-3 ISO range on the edges. Accuracy is our priority, we will also set out to ensure we have the best machinery with the best accuracy we can find to use in our business.
